        The Jacksonville Florida's 4th Annual New Years Day Ride and Blessing of the Bikes was wet and cold but some tough guys braved the weather and showed up and rode. I pulled into Open Road Leathers on Jan. 1st in the pouring rain and yes it was cold. To my surprise there were 4 motorcycles and Bobby King, (bikesandrides.com's event photographer) standing there waiting to ride. By the time Father John showed up for the Blessing of the bikes there were 15 bikes lined up. We pulled out in the rain and made the whole ride. Beach to 9A south to JTB east, south on A1A to Salona Rd. through Nocatee and on to the Rooster. You can see the pictures on the photo page of bikesandrides.com.
